You know, you might not guess it, but duct tape adhesive really stinks. It's one of those things you wouldn't expect until you've wrapped an entire roll around your body

I thought about this a while ago, in my making-stuff-with-duct-tape phase (which seems to have abruptly ended right when my living-with-girlfriend phase began), and I never did it because I couldn't think of a way to make a properly adjustable duct tape strap. I considered just getting a regular canvas strap, but that would ruin the fun. So, does any of you geniuses have a notion for how to make the strap change length like a Manhattan Portage, Timbuk2, or BaileyWorks? I think duct tape might work in one of the plastic buckles that Timbuk2 uses, but I'm afraid it would get all torn up.

I made duct tape shoes once. They smelled as bad as anything i'd ever smelled after a night of partying in them. Your post was the first time it ever occured to me that it may not have been ENTIRELY my feet's fault.
