baggy khaki long pants a pimp belt
Customized nike shoes

I can't afford to dress up. I don't prioritize my clothing beyond knowing I can wear it to death and it isn't from the Gap.

Overalls. When I'm not working construction, I'm working on my own house or on my bike. They're simply the best article of clothing ever invented, and they're super comfortable. I'm trying to find a red pair with a yellow hammer and sickle on them, if anyone can help me out.

If i want to make a subtle impression i wear this black polo shirt with a red word in the upper left chest with white dress pants/khackis. If i'm just going to buy something Ill throw on an orange t-shirt and some khacki or dickies shorts.

Personally, I "dress up" based upon the occasion. Most of the time, it's cargo-shorts, T-shirt and flip-flops since I spend a lot of time at the beach or on the boats. Other times, it's khakis and polo/button-up shirt with loafers. Once a week for my Rotary Club meeting, I'll have pinstripe suit, suspenders, french-cuff shirt with a pair of Bruno Maglis. At other times, "dressing up" means putting a condom on... ;)

Oh, and the boxers have to be silk...

24 carat gold chain? I think someone sold you a bill of goods. A chain of 24K would be so soft it would be trashed after only a few wearings. Perhaps 24K gold plated?

When it's warm or I'm doing something active or going to a show or something:

Military issue camo shorts (with a couple patches; probably the most comfortable clothing ever created)
T-Shirt (usually band/etc)
Hooded sweatshirt (usually with a patch on the left breast, but I've got a reaaaally nice, and expensive, American Apparel hoodie that is as of yet without alteration)
Vans black and white chequered slip-ons (ripped to **** after four years of wearing them, predominantly with no socks...there's more hole than there is shoe)
Adidas blue backpack (with a few patches and pins and whatnot)


For a regular school day/night out/etc:

Express M11 slim fit low-rise boot-cut jeans OR Express M22 regular fit regular rise boot-cut jeans
Polo, longsleeve shirt, dress shirt, and/or sweater (usually from Express, the Gap, Penguin, thrift stores, etc)
Dress socks (argyle, pattern, stripes)
Asics Onitsuka Tiger Gantrai (green/beige/brown)
Military issue sidepack (beige/green, with a few classy and well-placed patches and buttons)

Essentially, polar opposites. I used to dress like the first example all the time, and then I got a job and actually started trying to attract women.

You would be dissapointed in our 7-11. We have tons of them in California, and probably throughout the west coast, but they only sell hotdogs, burgers and nachos.

There are several Hawaiian restaurants and markets in LA, though.

Well, they're made by Rothco Military Division, I purchased them at an Army Surplus Store, and they have NATO and RN numbers on their tags and such. They were without any sort of brand tags, or any other markings that would indicate them being made for anything other than military use. My friend Sergio (who is currently serving overseas) owns the exact same pair. Obvious conclusion? Military issue.

Either way, I'm not a fan of "wannabe military stuff," and in no way intend to make myself look like a soldier or anything of the sort. Quite the opposite; I wholeheartedly despise the military.
