Training & Nutrition - Indoor Trainer Support/information Thread

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Forget it.

Koffee Brown says we don't need this, it is all taken care of by previous threads.

Sorry to bother folks.

Have a great day!

We have A LOT of indoor trainer threads. If you look through them, including the ones that have been created in the last month alone, you'll find more than enough information on it.

You may want to also consider getting the Sally Edwards books- "Heart Rate Monitor Workbook" and "Heart Rate Monitor Book for Outdoor and Indoor Cyclists" if you're really looking for information on how to design your own workouts for your trainer. If you can't do it alone, consider getting the Spinervals CDs.

Ok, let's just forget this. Koffee says we don't need a support-type group, so I will just edit my original thread.

I was hoping for a sort of "group" but we must go with what Koffee says.

I did not say it was NOT needed- I simply pointed out the MANY threads already existing on the indoor trainers. I don't know if you're looking for ride info, or if you're wanting to see what other people are doing, etc. We have a myriad of these threads currently out there on the forums, and they are growing. Would you just prefer the moderators to take the time to just empty every one of them into this thread because it's what YOU want? Because that's what it sounds like.

So to just reinforce your words, I'll just step back and trash every thread created about indoor cycling and tell everyone that since you want to lead a group discussion in this thread, they should just come to you. Well, since that's what you seem to be asserting by my response, when I was trying to be helpful and informative.

Then why did you delete the invitation to the road cycling group.

Somehow you missed completely the concept of a "support" group.

Because we don't DOUBLE POST on the forums. Why would we dissuade members from doing it, regularly delete double post threads by sending them warnings, then allow one member to create it? Double posts simply aren't allowed.

Thread locked. Anymore questions or comments, drop me or Maelstrom a PM. This back and forth serves no purpose.
