BMX - Worst injury from riding?

I just broke my wrist doing a backwards 1-footed framestand. What injuries have some of you recieved from riding?

Snapped left radius, resulting in three months of no riding, a $2200 bill (after insurance), and a stainless steel plate with six screws.

I died, really. It sucks to be dead.

Yea, there are allready a few threads on this topic. But for the sake of wasting time before class, I broke 2 ribs when I screwed up at the top of a 12 foot cement tranny.

i broke my leg getting hit by a car but my dad recived a cracked skull in flemington new jersey 1961, stitches from the wooden track along each thigh (nails), collarbone, pelvis and knee (speedskating) plus ankle and still riding at 75, go figure

That's funny.

Broken collor bone, major abrasions, broken teeth, stitches in head. All on diff. wrecks though through my whole life.

i think i got knocked out once a while ago. was messing around at speed when my hand slipped off the grip and i started to fall. next thing i know i'm laying in a nearby ditch with my bike in the middle of the road.

From riding BMX I Have gotten: A total of 17 stitches, 2 broken ribs, broken teeth and a concussion or two.

From Mountian biking I have gotten: A total of 36 stitches, broken collarbone, broken teeth, 4 broken ribs and 2 fractures, broken wrist, badly bruised kidney, couple concussions, broken tailbone and a fractured hip

Hell, this summer at the ski hill I broke the bottom rib on my right side, had it hit my kidney and bruise it very badly. From that same fall I also fractured my hip and ended up with a minor concussion. I rode for the rest of the day only to get home in great pain. I went to the hospital later when I pissed blood, and didnt think it was cause of my kidney.

Luckily, in 2 years of riding my worst injury so far has just been a few scars from doing bunnhop crackflips and missing the pedels when i land. Nothing that bad.

i fell today trying a 50-50 on a kinked rail. it was a crazy kink. my peg hit it and i flew forward, my hands got ripped up. i hurt my back trying a small line. feeble- hop up manual to smith 180. i underrotated and my body felt like it got ripped in half.

i got a hair like fracture in my right shin from pedalbite and i chipped my left shin on a brick ledge when i tryed to 180 feeble and i totaly busted a$$ and nailed my shin

that's insane. trying to grind backwards on bricks. i only do backwards grinds on heavily waxed objects or rails

thats why i fell and i also am still learning im not that great but there are also no good spots to ride in the suburbs of jersey i am learnin tail taps barspin manuals and dirt jumping

yea have u ever been to brick it is soo boring last year it was the 2nd safest town in the usa
is sooo dull i always wanted to ride in queens or in philly i need to get better i did my first step up yestersay it was soo much fun i got a sic tabletop over it

queens is good to ride. i find a new line at least five times each day

while i was ridin dirt i went off a drop and lost control and me an my bmx landed at the bottom in a heep, i kinda done in my back and my wrists hurt for a while. i havent really had any bad injuries.

i just got hit by my next door neighbors car that ****ing dumbass doesnt use his mirrors and i had my music on full blast and i had no idea wut the hell he was doing i rode right past is drivway well attempetd to and he hit me old peopel suck ( ever look down while riding a bike)

what an idiot. i get hit by cars in manhattan,not too hard though. some guy opened his door in front of me, so i did a kickout and made put a dent in his mercedes, my friend keyed him, and my other friend broke the corner of his windshield with a ratchet. that guy wanted to kill us.

hell yeah mofuka. hardcore. i see all these kids riding nyc, but there from jersey. some of you might know what i'm talking about. pegless/2pegs, straight cable, spotless bike, no scratches/dents/dirt, skinny, long hair, and wearing girls pants.i ****ing hate them. their riding is so boring.manuals and manual 180's. kind of like that guy that's on all those props and road fools videos Oliver leonard or something like that.

I laughed.

My brother snapped his collarbone and his thumb. The dumbass decided to attempt his first jump during one of his races and not during pratice. We all had a good laugh at him, He thought it was pretty funny also. I had to throw in that last part so I don't catch any crap for laughing at someone's who is hurt.

Yeah, it's always fun to laugh at things like that. After all, he was racing, you were probably sitting on your butt watching.

broken foot and toes from trying a superman and not making the pedals and my bike ran over my foot and messed stuff up...

Compression fracture L1 vertebrae, broken nose, 2 broken ribs, broken left foot, broken pinky finger, 3 teeth broken.

It hurt a little...

broken nose, broken hand, 6 subluxations in my spine, broken toes, cuts, bruises, sprains, and all that fun stuff. and no not all in one crash.
