I missed the live showing on ironmanlive.com. I was hoping someone would know if it will be coming on TV somtime soon? I know they usually show a shorter version on NBC. But when will that happen, and will there be any other showings? Thanks for the updates!

P.S. This year's broadcast should be a great one, high on intensity: Sarah Reinertsen's 2nd attempt (single leg amputee), Johnny Blais' race (ALS), Faris Al Sultan's breakthrough, Natascha Badmann's sixth victory, record age group times in nearly perfect conditions, records set for the oldest ever male and female finishers...

I only caught the last few hours on ironmanlive.com (I had my days confused). I can't stand the NBC stuff--the coverage is too short and pays only parting attention to the athletes actually racing. OLN's coverage seems to do the same thing. I want to get the full version to watch over the winter (the bike trainer can be mind numbing). If anyone knows how to get a copy of the ironmanlive coverage, please pass along the info.

I watched the NBC recap today. I was crying by the end.

You guys are lucky...here in Houston the Ironman coverage was preempted by some local infomercial, despite the IM being on the TV schedule...many members of my local tri club sent e-mails to the local programming department, but no luck...hope the race was fun to watch...
