Hi,
I spotted this (http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Black-Chris-King-1-1-4-Headset-NoThread-Set_W0QQitemZ7189484199QQcategoryZ42317QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) headset on eBay for $10.00 ending in less than 2 days! I've got one of these on my Trek. They're phenomenal.
BTW, can anyone point me towards tandem group rides in oregon?
Thanks,
Brett

You'll find contact info and links to existing web sites for most of the tandem clubs in the US at the following URL: http://www.thetandemlink.com/UStandemclubs.html
This is a direct link to Team Northwest Tandemonium (TNT)'s Web site:

Some friends down in Bend started a club called BADGER but I'm not sure it's still a going concern. You can also check with the folks in Eugene, Oregon at Co-Motion.com, Burley.com, and BikeFriday.com...
By the time the bidding gets done on the CK headset it will be more than 10 bucks . . . whether new or slightly used.
Agree: a phenomenal US-made headset!
Have ridden with the bike club in Eugene a few years ago, and yes there were a couple tandems.
