What the heck, I want to be the know-it-all this time.

You have a set of 4 encyclopedias, and each encyclopedia is 1.5'' thick. A bookworm has invaded your library, and this worm can eat 1'' worth of books in a week.

Your encyclopedias are lined up in order. How long will it take for the bookworm to eat from the front page of volume 1 to the front page of volume 4?

I think you mean the back page of Vol 4... (least thats how I've always heard it)

If that's the case your answer is 3 weeks. (or adjust accordingly) :)
