Hello All,

I've been dj'ing and dinking around doing basic street stuff... I'm still pretty new to all this.

I'm 5'7", 29" inseam, and I'm riding a Giant STP 'regular' frame... 14", 21.5 actual top tube, 22 virtual top tube.

I've just purchased a STP 1 'large' 15" frame with 22.5 top tube and will set this up for a more stable ride on trails as well as dj. I guess I'll try to keep both bikes rideable so I can compare them and try to decide, but the size thing is really getting under my skin.

I've seen some pretty big guys on really small bikes, pro riders, and wonder if you just choose to ride something that small, or do you progress to that size? It's tempting to just set up yet another bike that way to experiment, but I'd like to check in here to see what you all think?

Another question... are the freeride fs bikes being ridden small as well?

Any clarity on this subject would be awesome!

Best regards,
Miko

I'm 6'5 and ride a 18in bike. I like the smaller feel because of the more manuveribilty but that's just a personal choice.
