Hi..im new to here and im looking forward to replace my 105(triple chainring) rear derail. The local shop offered me about $86 USD for DA rear derail and $47 USD for ultegra. I already read some reviews at roadbikereview.com but some of the reviews saying this derail isnt as good as i was expecting. The price differences are huge in my country's currency. For me, i`ll choose ultegra but will it perform as good as DA? By the way, does STI makes the different in shifting as well? Im using DA 9spd STI and maybe using DA rear derail will give any advantages??

Dura Ace is never worth the money. DA and Ultegra use the exact same technology, it's just that DA is a bit lighter. Ultegra stuff will work like a dream, so will 105, actually. There are a billion threads that go over this though, so I'll leave it here.
Buy the Ultegra stuff.

The rear derailleurs are totally interchangeable. I assume your LBS has shown you the correct derailleur(s) for your application. Usually on a triple you will have a longer cage derailleur. Was there something wrong with your 105 Derailleur? I doubt most people would notice the difference between Dura Ace, Ultegra, and 105. I prolly could not. Dura Ace is worth it. Whether it is worth it to you or not only you can answer. Ultegra is excellent as well.
