if he landed that, it would be sick.

The guy's from Pinkbike, he posted in the corresponding thread in Pinkbike. He said he was OK, no bones broken, he tacoed his front wheel and will hit the gap again.

Ah, no bones broken. But that closed head injury is a mutha. Makes him think he can land it if he tries again. Quick, somebody check his ICP.

Holy crap, can you walk? What kinda question is that. Is your head intact? Is a better question.

That is a nasty crash. I wouldn't have the guts to do it and if i was the guy with the camera i would say something better like...."Are you alright?"

Good thing he landed on his head, otherwise he might have broken something. Hell of a jump, big air, shocking crash.

I think my first few questions would have been, "Are you still breathing? Can you hear me? Should I get you a beer or a good shot of >>>insert favorite hard liquer<<<? Can I have your bike now? I need some parts" :p

That vid is one good example of when not to use a kicker :D With that long a$$ approach he could have gotten more then enough speed to clear the road with out any type of jump at the top.

DBD: He still seemed to have fallen short by a few feet though, you recon if you took away the kicker he'd have made it? (or would have at least had a bigger chance to do so?)

It was really scary, he nearly hit one of the roadside barriers.

If you look at the size of the hill behind his start and he started from the top he would have had a better chance. Also, if there was no kicker all his momentum would have been moving forward, since he used a kicker it sent him up instead of over. If he feels he would still need a take off he could chop the kicker in half so he can fly over rather then up and over.
