Anyone know of a supplier that makes colored spokes....looking for purple. I'm mating these to a Purple Surly hub and a Purple Velocity Rim. I'm making this my dedicated fixed wheel instead of my modified ss wheel :) I have heard of a company that makes purple titanium spokes but the color comes out pretty pale.

Something kind of like the pic below except those are straight pull to their own hubs and nippleless rims.

As far as I know, Surly hubs only come in black and silver. Where are you finding purple ones?

They did a limited run this summer. They sold them all in about a week, I think.

I see that Primo is making colored spokes now. Quality carries them.

As an aside, does anyone know where one could get gold nipples that -aren't- alloy?

It seems like someone must make brass nipples without chrome plating, but gold plated nipples? I dunno

Surly Purple Hubs....sold out in 51 hours this past summer. I bought a set plus an extra rear hub so I could have two rear wheels....one for ss, one for fixed.

That's what I thought too, but all I could find were alloy ones. What I want are brass ones that aren't plated.

Looks like QBP carries Primo in White, Yellow, Red, and Blue. We're calling to see if there are any others available.

Those hubs are kinda snazzy.

Here's mine mated to a Boone Ti Cog made to fit with the disc brake holes. I still need to get a few better photos before I submit to FGG.

They did a super-small run of pink 1x1's too, but they sold out in a flash as well.
