Hey all again,

I am going to order an IRO rear flip/flop hub but not sure where to buy it at. Was wondering if anyone knew if IRO is backed up after being closed? And does anyone know how much shipping from IRO is, i couldnt find it on their site. If they are backed up, i'll just order from Harris.

Secondly,

I've started looking around at spoke calculators to try to find what size spokes I need, but I haven't found one with an IRO flip/flop hub and an Araya W/O rim. I found one, but they didn't have the right hub, and they only had an Araya W/O steel rim. I am quite sure my rim is not steel, if it was steel a magnet would stick to it correct? So if anyone has any good spoke calcs. with that hub and rim, let me know :)

you can get the iro hubs from IRO's website. The websie is back up, but I'm not sure if they are shipping stuff yet.

Here is a spoke calc from DT http://www.dtswiss.com/index.asp

The hub numbers are
Front Width from center to flange 34.5 mm
Flange diameter 62.0 mm
Rear Width from center to flange 31.0 mm
Flange diameter 62.0 mm
Chain Line 42mm
Weight Front: 275 g, Rear 330 g


When in doubt go down to a shop and have them measure everything then be a good sport and buy your spokes from them.

How is the paint coming?

Thank man. The paint is done, looks pretty swell. I should have pics soon.... Once I finish w/ everything, me and my friend are going to ride to Folsom, hop on lightrail and go downtown and cruise around :) I have yet to decide what gearing I want though.

You can also get them from bens cycle and fitness (sellers of the Milwaukee Track Bike) on eBay for comparable prices. I think their seller name is "bensbike".
