5star3 and I went on a nice ride yesterday, from Corvallis to Albany and back. We figured it out to be between 27 and 30 miles. Probably closer to 27, but 30 sounds so much better! It was the furthest I've biked so far, and I think the same goes for 5star. Good times.
Here's a map I made, showing our route: CLICK! (http://oregonstate.edu/~tudorj/misc/route.gif)
Next tour: Corvallis to Eugene, stay night, and ride back...

Screw 34, take Riverside next time, much better way back to C-town, although you eventually have to hit the highway. Before you jump to Eugene, try a few loops out around Shedd first, it'll give you an idea of what you are in for. Also check out mvbc (http://www.peak.org/~mvbc/RouteSheets/index.html) route list for some variety.

Just hope for every down there's an up on the other side... I found out the hard way what way-too-many-RPM feels like coming down Liberty Rd to Buena Vista Rd on the other side of the river. Also check out the Buena Vista ferry soon, it closes for the season Sunday.
