Injury.
Had 2 bad injuries this summer that put me in more pain than I've had to handle before. Made me handle pain on the bike better.

Hyperactivity. Whenever I get a bad case of the ya-yas, I take care of it by having myself a sprint-fest.

I had to choose fear....it was when I was 13 and trying to outrun a cop (patrol car). Ole Lance hisself would not have caught me that day...but the cop did. :(
