Hi guys/gals,
I'm currently scoping out the market for a decent entry level road bike. I'm looking to spend about $1600 Can. So far out of all of the bikes I've looked at though I keep going back to one that my LBS showed me a few weeks ago.
First off, let me start by saying that when I went to look for it on the net I just about went crazy. Can't you roadies decide on simple names for your rides? So I'll say its the Bianchi M Alloy Veloce?? It has an aluminum frame, Campy components, carbon fork and nice details like grooves in the rims to channel water, Campy Veloce gruppo, etc...
I like it. I'm looking at the 2002 model, so buy next year I may be looking a slightly different bike.
However, as much as I like it, is there any thing comparable to this bike and the price i'm looking at?
So far the only reason I keep coming back to the Bianchi is I haven't found another bike that stacks up to the components, over all look and price.
So any suggestions? Thanks guys/gals
