My wife's Roberts tourer was delivered yesterday. Beautiful Celeste-ish green front merging to dark pearl blue rear. Campag veloce, TA triple crank, XT hubs and canti's, mile deep paintwork and colour coded Tubus rack and lowrider.

Loads of neat braze ons, including pump bosses on the left hand seat stay, and the head badge is cut in, with the name of the builder engraved on seat stays and round the BB.

The geometry is a compact frame allowing my 5'1" wife to stand over the top tube, yet even with 700c wheels and guards, allows clearance for her size 3 feet.

I had a try last night and it runs superbly!!

Photo's will follow.

The bike is named "de prinses"

Cool, looking forward to the photos! :)

(I suppose Roberts is a UK brand, eh?)

Very nice finish. Fillet brazed on the compact frames.

I'm glad her accident didn't change her feelings about riding. I hope she has thousands of miles of pleasure from the Roberts.
