Didn't you folks get a new turn installed? Did the creek overrun its banks again?

check the webpics. looks like a reverse moat. kinda cool, a track/pool? very impractical ,like, jungledrome or such.
should be o.k. w/ donations/awareness/ volunteer support. Stone Mtn. is too far- I can take the rail + bike to DLV. :)

Hey I looked at the site. Wow a pool in the middle.
Tell them that The Madison race did not give the name to Madison Square Garden. It was the name of the park MADISON Square and the ave... Madison Ave.
The first and second Madison Squarde Garden was on Madison and 25th street then 50st and 8th ave (now World Wide Plaza) then to 31-33st between 8th and 7th aves (former Penn Station site)where it has been for 37 years.
A lil history. I will write the president of the velodrome about the mistake.

I haven't raced in years.
I use only steel and lugged frames .NJS fit the bill.
I have mostly from 1980s to early 90s.
WHY DO YOU ASK?

You seem like the most knowlegable about track. Or most passionate. Either way, I am a passionate newbie, that needs accurate data in order to be proficient, so I tend to read/listen to veterans or ex-pros.
