If the Hed bars you are referring to are the carbon ones that run around $500 or so, they did very well in some wind tunnel test results I just saw. I'm looking at either those or the VisionTech Trimax bars for my P3; these were the top 2 in the wind tunnel tests, so assuming they fit me, I'll pick up one or the other.

Yep those are the ones do the vision techs come with brake levers too?

I've get the hed's on mine.. although with alloy extensions. Same thing, slightly heavier. I've found them to be very comfortable for 50ish mile rides so I'd imagine they would be fine for over 100 as well. Adjustability is good... and the fact that you can use whatever stem you want lets you play around a lot with the stem length and rise.

Regarding brake calipers... i have the mavic's on both my road bike and tri bike. I love them and don't think they can be beat for the price.

The few places I've checked (trisports.com and all3sports.com) list the Hed w/brake levers, but no mention of them for the vision techs, so I guess not.

I see there is a recall on the VisionTechs a problem with them cracking between the arm rests.
Think its going to be the Heds they look the buisness too, can u tell me what the width is between the armrests?

I don't know the width but it is a little wider than standard I believe. You may want to check out the Oval A900, basically the same bar but it is sold in more places and is a little more adjustable.

Also, I used sbends for the past season and founf them fine for 2 hours but anything over and I was getting sore in the wrists. I made the switch back to regular Vision clipons for next year.

You can adjust the width and angle however you like it. I don't think you can go extremely narrow, but I've got at least 2 cm left and I have a fairly aggressive position.
