OK, I think it's pretty plain here that laundry is the bane of most of our existances.
I'm beginning to think, what if, when I got in the shower, I also washed my clothes in there? I could walk around on 'em while showering, they'll get the soap that washes off of me, then when I'm done I give them their own soaping and rinsing, and hang up there in the shower on a pole I can set up, to drip dry, then when only damp move them out to the hanger I let my bike clothes dry on?
Any ideas on this? Dishes would be the bane of my existance too if I saved the dirty ones up for a week or two before washing them.....
yeah... do that!
*i am very glad i live no where near you... at least i hope i don't anyway...i didn't bother to look at your location*

How do you know Sheldon's not grinning in that picture because he got the bicycle wheel squeaky clean by taking it in the shower with him?

Why bother with the shower then?
Just hose down while you wash your car.
I kind of like doing laundry, when I have time. Dishes are the complete opposite. I've been known to just throw out dishes because it was more than a month between doing dishes...
Come to think of it, I've been known to just buy knew socks and underwear just to make it to the weekend when I had time to do laundry...
You need a couple of pairs of that weeks on end without washing underwear I saw at REI. I wonder if they make socks too?

Or the next time you go to the swiming baths, just drive straight in the pool. That way you get to wash your car, clothes and yourself. And if you have a bike rack :D

I often wash my bike gear in the shower after I get off the bike.

I love to iron my clothes. It gives me time to ponder life and smooth out the wrinkles.
To heighten the effect, I don't use the clothes dryer. I just wad them up in a ball and let them air dry... which pretty much defines my life.

Ye, ironing can be a nice calming experience.
I try to make cleaning dishes, cleaning the house, laundry etc as little zen exercises.
