Next summer's Tour route has been revealed. ASO dumps on Lance. No TTT. Much more suspense. What do you think about it? I also see that Dishnetwork has dropped OLN!! Holy crap, may have to change to something else.

Edit: OOPS I see that there is an earlier thread over on the racing forum. Sorry for the duplication.

i don't much care for the route. i like climbing, and the 2006 tour just doesn't do that justice. while i like to see the TTT, i agree with its exclusion

Many of the climbers are not too excited. There aren't many hilltop finishes. One of the biggest and often decisive climbs is now followed by 50k flat riding before the finish line.

This tour will definitely favor the likes of Ulrich who will do well in the individual time trials. Unlike previous tours, this one may be decided in the Alps rather than the Pyrennes.

Interesting observation. Maybe the TDF has planned this course to fit Ulrich's style to finally get him that second win.

They've held many mountain-centric tours in the past few years.
