Hi, I have the same bike as you and had the same problem. What I did was, took the cranks off, pulled out the bottom bracket and about a cup of water spilled out. The bearings were totally shot. I had to replace the bottom bracket. This is probably the case if you wash your bike with a hose. Hope this helps.

It's either the Bottom Bracket(BB) or the cranks are loose. Try tightening the cranks first. If that doesn't work, take the cranks off(requires a special tool) and take the BB out, put some grease on teh shell, put the BB back in and make sure it is good and tight. Then put the cranks back on good and tight. If creaking persists, replace the BB. Also check your quick releases. My friends bike was creaking and I was working on the BB and couldn't get the creaking to go away. I just happened to notice her rear quick release was loose. So I tightened it and ta da!!! No more creaking.

Take it to your LBS and have them do it. It will cost about $30 to $45.

Washing your bike with a hose tends to force dirt and water into the bearings. I'd recommend some other approach.

I wash my bike with a soft automobile "wheel brush" and a bucket of Simple Green and water followed by a GENTLE rinse, no high pressure.

And once in a while, even though it sounds like its coming from the BB, it turns out to be the seat post.

Or the seat, or the pedals, or the chainrings, or.....
Go through and tighten every bolt on your bike. This will take about 10 mins top. Then if it reappears its probably a bolt you couldn't get to, like the bb.
