I have a Schwinn Crosspoint (serial number 0M114376) that I believe is from the early 90th. It’s not a bike that will became one of the classics but it suits me fine as a daily ride.

I saw a post on a Schwinn Crosscut http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=149098
from the same era, and it seams like some of you have the old catalogs.

Does anyone know anything about this bike ?

Can you tell me where your serial number was located on your bike?

Also what color is your bike?

Mine is black.

Mine is black.

The serial number is stamped into the bottom of the bottom bracket shell and the color is British racing green. It’s a nice bike with old LX components and a lugged butted CrMo frame.

Does anyone know if this bike was sold as a touring bike and if it was standard equipped with drop bars?

My sister has two green ones in her garage. The Giant dealer would only give her $30 in trade on a pair of comfort bikes, so she kept them. They both came with Ritchey flat bars.

Newbie here and also to cycling. My brother gave me a Schwinn Crosspoint as a gift, (good Bro) to go with the retirement motorhome I bought. first time on a cycle in many years and this is a bit awkward geting used to but I am liking it more as we ride each day. I realize this is an old topic but does anyone have more information on this bike? I believe it to be maybe a 92 from searching other web sites. Also my brother normally tricks out everything so I will soon post a pic. Thanks in advance. Mike
