I've had a Ritchey BreakAway for several months and I have always found the chain to be a problem when disassembling the bike and packing it. If you don't take it off, you really need to wrap it and tie it down to keep it from bouncing around. Rather than continuing to remove the 10sp Campagnolo chain, I have just replaced it with a Wipperman that disconnects without tools. I travel again in about 2 weeks so we'll see how it works out.
