Hi, I have an r700 c-dale, my shifters need to be moved up on the bar, I see where that screw is on the shifters and when I take it off how do I move them up.I lifted that black cap but couldnt tell where i needed to undo anything to move up.

I assume you're talking about brake-shift levers? If so you should qualify. But assuming that's the case, you may need to remove your wheels (so you can squeeze the brake lever further) and when you pull the brake lever you can get an allen wrench in to loosen the clamp. You'll probably need to unwrap your handlebars, and re-wrap them with new tape afterwards.

Assuming shimano brake/****ers, there is a groove on the outside of each lever that goes under the hood.At the base of the groove there is a allen head bolt that takes a 5mm wrench. The bolt only needs loosened, not removed.
