Hello everybody.
I have had some problems with my Bush & Müller Oval Senso Plus frontlight. It happens every time I hit a big bump, the lamp changes angle so I have to adjust it with my hand when still riding. Happens six to seven times every single way of my commute. This means dropping my attention from the road and traffic to the light. That´s dangerous. I tried everything (or so I thought) including tighten the screw which attach the lamp to the bracket so hard I dared whithout cracking the plastic lampcase.
So, I contacted B&M, explained my problem to them. They were very helpful, even sending me a replacement lamp. When mounting my new replacement lamp I notice the lamp is exactly with the same friction where the bracket is attached, hmmm. Maybe my first lamp whas O.K.. When looking more cloesly on the lamp I notice the VauDe barbag is several centimeters (about one and a half inch) above the lamp. But when heavily loaded maybe it moves enough in big bumps to touch the lamp making the angle of the light change. This might be the explanation of the problems I´ve experienced and explained to B&M.
Man do I feel stupid or what?!
I have now dismounted the barbag and rides with my left side back pannier attached to the rear rack. I´m still happy with my light system.
