Damn! Dish network dropped OLN from its programing! Now I'm pissed! OLN is the only reason I subscribed to Dish in the first place! Bad thing is I now have one less channel, but I'm paying the same price as before OLN was dropped...that's insult to injury! On top of that I have a new 18 month contract with the ba$tards!

I wish life were that simple. I have an outstanding credit rating to maintain. Quit paying and that gets flushed...no way. Right now I'm not happy with Dish...come next July, I'm sure I'll hate them.

It's a small dispute because of the NHL programing (which sucks by the way, ESPN better take back hockey next year), they'll work it out by cycling season.

OLN's NHL coverage isn't THAT bad (especially since that's all we have for national coverage). Admittedly their graphics SUCK, but it's their first year. I watched some old games I taped off ESPN Classic during the lockout and those earlier games weren't all that great either. They did bring over the bulk of the ESPN NHL crew (We NEED Pang and Melrose) and from the look of things the camera crew has experience as well. My only wish is that they'd show more than one game a night. Back in the glory days on ESPN2 we'd get an east coast game and a late west coast game.

I'm in the same boat, as I just replaced Dish At Home rental service with some used Dish Receivers I got so I can avoid the rental fees... I could switch to Directv for $42/month you get OLN, but I just bought these units unless I want to try to sell them.

Plus, who knows if OLN is going to carry the TdF since we all know King Lance has retired. :rolleyes: I was already pissed at OLN's lack of Vuelta/Giro daily coverage.
