Just picked up my new '05 Axis, and had a nice long ride. I don't have my shoes with me right now, so some cheap platform pedals are on there, and it STILL rides like a dream.
I'm thinking I should register this baby, so I am looking for the serial number, but can't seem to find it. Where should it be located?
Cheers!

It's usually right under the front crank. You'll probably have to flip the bike over to see it.

Awesome, thanks so much.
I thought I checked there first, but I must have just missed it. It's not the easiest to read either....
Right now it looks like h4*****01
Does that look right?
Thanks!

congrats. i have the exact same bike, 55cm 05', and i love it. the only thing i've had to do is have the wheels retensioned.
Im thinking thats its probably not a good idea to be posting your serial number on the internet, I may be wrong though.
Nice looking ride. What is the BB drop on the Axis, do you know? I don't see the figure on Bianchi's website.
Probably not.
You should probably jsut delete the post with the picture.

Yeah, I already did, thanks. I just wanted to make sure that that IS a serial #, not some other production #.

With my measurements on my 55cm frame, the distance that the center of the bottom bracket lies below the rear hub is right about 7.5cm.
Great looking bike, I have the 2006 and love it, enjoy!
