I've tried several times to transfer pictures to the website, but my pictures are rejected because they are too large a file. The largest file that can be transferred is 100KB but my pictures are 1.1MB, 10 times the allowed number of bytes. Can you tell me how to reduce the pictures or what I'm doing wrong? I've been able to reduce one or two pictures to 394KB by changing programs, smaller but still way too large a file. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Find a graphic program like infraview. Reduce the size of the picture to something in the 640x480 range and use the save as feature to save as a web pic. It reduces the quality enough to make it web worthy.

Photoshop also has similar options but costs $$$$ and is a little more difficult than 3 steps :)
