I just got some aerobars for my new Specilized Allez. However, I feel they were a bit too high. How can I lower them without lowering the bars. I was thinking there might be some way to use just the padded part. Forget about the metal bar you grab with your hand and just provide a soft place to rest my forearms. Any way to mount the pads from aerobars directly to the handlebars?

Get these. (http://www.cinelli.it/eng/bici/accessori/curve/ESPOSITORE_GRIPPO.html) They're pads that attach directly to your bars.
