I'm new to road biking if you've seen me around the road section of the forum.
On my two month old entry level Felt F90, there is an area of cable on the top tube and tube below it with exposed cables.
The two for shifting are pretty tight.
But the one for rear braking is incredibly loose. I can stretch it almost to 3 inches.
Because of this, my rear brakes are lacking and not strong enough.
I know it needs to be tightened. Can anyone help me out?
Also do I have to lube or put some grease on the cable?
If so, how do I check on this (my exposed cable area is not lubed or greased, is that a problem) and where do I put in some lube. I have pedro's ice wax.
