My buddy has a 2005 Cannondale Prophet 800 and I am wanting to know what Specialized mountain bike that this would compare to? I looked but I'm just not real sure what to tell him. We both have a mutual friend who is wanting to buy a bike but is not so sure of the Cannondale, he would like something comparable, but just not a Cannondale. My friend payed around $2000 for his Cannondale if it will help. So what ever you guys suggest, I am going to give to my friend as a starting point. Thanks

Actually, I would place the Enduro as closest to the Prophet. To be fair, I have sold both bikes and I don't think you can go wrong with either, I believe the Prophet will be a bit lighter, but all else should be relatively equal.

An Enduro? To me the Prophet seems more like an XC bike in the way it's setup

They bill it as all-mountain/light freeride. You can set the head angle from 69.5-67.0 if I recall correctly. 5.5" of travel. Its truly just a mini Gemini. There is an even more freeride version available, the Prophet MX... which is the 4x model.
