Road Cycling - many thanks for bianchi/lemond info

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

hi to all
i decided to go with the lemond beunos aires(2003 blue/yellow)and it looks sharp.the lemond uses select reynolds 853 tubing while the bianchi vigorelli uses 631 tubing.both bike shops in my area used to carry bianchi in stock but have changed to a special order status only and could not get a clear answer why.i am sure that bianchi is still a good brand but it did cause a slight concern. these are my factors for picking the lemond. thanks for all the input....michael t.

There is almost no difference between 600 and 800 series Reynolds tubing.

Congrats.

You sound like you're leaving now Michael?

It doesn't work that way pal.

We help you, now you need to help us.

You're in the family now, see?

We need you to deliver this drink bottle to Jimmy in Maine, see?

Now shut up and ask questions.

Stick around.

;)
