Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. wow! those are some crazy machines they look fun. I just picked up a 1984 bicycling mag from good will the other day, and saw a rowing bike for the first time and must say it looks fun. I wonder how fast you could go if you where crankin both ends with some super high gears.

I was thinking the same thing as outakontroll. That looks like fun. If you did rowing-biking one day and regular biking the next, you would have a complete workout!

Certainly true, but does the row/bike cost more than a boat? I was going to make a smart alec comment about getting away from cars, though, but then realized that rowers probably hate motor boats. Imagine riding on a road without lanes and vague rules about right of ways. Oh yeah, I see that on every morning ride....
or some like that carbonfiber bike and handybikes

I've seen them for paralyzed folks. When I was in Bologna, Italy, there was a paralyzed spinning instructor who even rigged up a spin bike exactly like that and was teaching classes. Incredible.

Can't remember when ,, but yes I have seen a bike that you could use both hands a feet to propel it. That was in a magazine years ago... Popular mechanics or science or one of those. peace
