Done 50 miles so far with no dramas. The idea is that Mel will take over on the front once her injured knee has recovered. This was our wedding present!

Congratulations! Welcome to tandeming! My Fiancee Mollie and I are newbies too, but She's been bugging me to ride every weekend since we've bought it about 6 weeks ago... We missed this weekend because of a mechanical problem (wobbly rear wheel that needed truing) but we're making up for it during the week.

We got our first tandem back in 1975 for our 20th wedding anniversary . . . still 'happily' at it!

Congrats! I hope you two enjoy the tandeming as much as we do. We can't seem to get off the bike once we start pedaling.
