here's what I found about it.. and I'm interested...
Lake's new winter boot was designed with input from Iditasport Extreme winner John Stamstad to offer extra protection from 10 - 50 degrees Fahrenheit. They are made with a much wider and taller toebox than their other shoes to allow the foot to maintain all-important circulation with the use of thicker socks. Construction consists of a water-resistant Pittards WR100 leather upper with a neoprene cuff and Outlast temperature regulating lining, 3M Thinsulate in the toe box, and a Thermosol composite insole for added warmth. Closure is via the new dial BOA lacing system, which consists of a single dial adjustment and nylon filament.
