Anyone try one of these? http://www.terrybicycles.com/BPA/7402600.lasso

icebike.com and 3 people at mtbr.com like it.

I think I'm gonna try it!

I have been using that one since last year. I like the fact that I can mount it on my helmet visor without a bracket and then take it off when its not needed. It also fits on the ear piece of glasses, which is where you would have to put it if you don't have a visor. It is infinitely adjustable, by benting at the joint. In other words, YES, GET IT!

I have one, and use it mounted on my glasses earpiece. Compared to "Third Eye," the other brand I'm familiar with, it extends out further, has a larger mirror, and doesn't tend to lose adjustment, and the mirror itself doesn't get damaged by water, etc. The downside is that it's a little heavier than Third Eye mirrors.

I've been using one of these for the past few weeks. Absolutely the best mirror I've seen.

I've been using a helmet mounted mirror and couldn't live without it. They're great.

I have a glue-on helmet mirror. This combined with a handlebar mirror seems to cover rear-view from any position on the bike. I got both just this year and can't conceive of life without them anymore.

I'll never go back to a bar mount mirror! My Thrid Eye Pro helmet mount is great!! I've just discovered another advantage of a helmet mount -
When riding straight past merging "entrance ramps", with a helmet mirror just turn your head an extra 20 degrees (to the left in NA, & Europe, to the right in UK, Aus & Japan) and you can see any traffic oncoming on the ramp.
(There was a thread earlier in the year about a traffic fatality when a rider hit the curb and got hit by a vehicle while trying to see oncoming ramp traffic)
A bar mount mirror won't help in these situations.

I want to find a new mirror for my helmet. I have seen a mirror that attaches to the helmet vents. It is a wire arm mirror and not plastic. I do not want to glue the mirror to my helmet, because I have a couple I switch between.

Anybody know any vendors?

Sorry no, but my Blackburn clips into a base that is affixed to the helmet, so if you could aquire a second base... alternatively buy two and keep the second mirror bit as a spare, they're only about £6 sterling

Sorry to be the odd man out guys, but I have tried helmet mirrors and didn't like them This particular mirror in question is supposed to be the best and I have heard nothing BUT good things about it. But I couldn't seem to see anything out of it and the thing vibrated all to hell AND you couldn't touch it against something without it being thrown out of adjustment.

NAW, went back to handlebar mirrors.....but I hear this mirror is the best.

If ya don't like it - bring it back.
