Hi all... I like these forums and have enjoyed the reading so far. A little poop... I've passed the ripe old age of 50 a bit, look 40, act 30 and enjoy married life with a child. I've been riding a MTB for 3yrs, but due to my life schedule, unable to get to the Mtns often enough to enjoy the technology. So, I sold the MTb. I am new back to road training and hopefully some local racing once my endurance is at the level I expect for proper performance. I live in the Wine Country of So Ca...hilly and a great place to hurt on climbs or miss reading on fast down hills.

I just purchased a new Fondriest Titan Level 9 with full campy record. Hopefully the gearing will work for the climbs. She rides nice 8-) Easy on the but and handles my body in the manner I expected. Soft on my hands, even softer on my bottom. I use to rider & race in my 20's/30's, 300miles a week of training. But my business got the best of my schedule then and riding was put aside for awhile...

Now, I am back and expect to put in some long hours to find my the endurance needed for proper success. I know there are many hidden riders in my area. It'll take some time to find a good riding buddy.

Ride safe and keep your eyes in the back of your head alert!8-0
