Road Cycling - Anyone own a Douglas bike?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Just been looking through the Colorado Cyclist catalog and I always see the Douglas bikes in there. I have never seen anyone riding one or even discussing them on these boards. It sounds like a pretty good deal for some of the bikes? Anybody have any impressions? Thanx all.

I recently acquired the Fusion Ultegra. I think it is a great bike so far (~900k). More bike for the money than some brands.

I know what you mean. I was looking at them too before I got my new bike and I did several searches on the internet but could find absolutely ZERO information about these bikes or the company. I guess if you're really interested in one, Colorado Cyclist would be the ones to ask. Who knows, maybe they build them there!!
They seem like good deals to me. They look like quality bikes. I think the "generic" name and CC's buying power allow them to cut the price.
