Mmm, it looks like my right lever of my HS-33 (model 2001) is leaking blood.
The brakes are brand new and never used (rebuilding my bike at the moment),but at the LBS they have changed the leverhandles on my request from silver to black.

Has my problem anything to do with changing the leverhandles?
If not, should i unscrew the sleevenut and replace the "olive" of the tube?

I,ve checked out the Magura-site but the FAQ-forum there is pretty slow.
Maybe this is a faster way to get a solution for my "problem"

Thanks!

If the leak you are experiencing is coming from the hose tehn yes replace the olive. Magura suggests doing this every time if you have brass olives. You may want to check and make sure the LBS tightened everything down. If the leak is coming from the lever Magura says that due to liability reasons levers have to be replaced as a whole unit Individual cylinders and pistons are not available. There really is not a whole lot that can go wrong with them. It is either a bad cylinder or it is not tightened down enough. The Magura web site has exploded views of the system.

Thanks Hunter!
I downloaded the e-view yesterday, and your right it looks not very complicated.
I,m going to replace the olive and contact my LBS if the problem remains.
