anyone here use fixed gear riding for rehab or have in the past...??
I stopped running track because of a groin injury and haven't been in comptetitive shape for a while now due to inactivity. I love bike riding, and it has always been the preferred method of leg warm-up (espec. for injuries) in athletics. I'm building up a fix, in part because I've wanted one for at least 5 years now, but also because I think a fix (specifically) will be a great way to get serious about rehabilitating my leg strength (in conjunction with localized exercises and training). I always felt that riding fixed I got a more overall workout on my whole legs.
anyone have similar experiences or anything?
