Classic & Vintage - Anybody from Miami looking to get rid of VLWs?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well, unlike the other forums I frequent, I know there's at least a few fellows here from Miami, so I thought I'd ask if any of you local-yok...AHEM, local cycle friends are getting rid of any vintage lightweights or VLW parts.

I currently have a few lightweights I'm working on to get together in one piece, and I'm looking to also aquire a few more for a little racing-only rental service (the bikes don't have to look pretty, just functional) I'm working on. Suntour Cyclone is my favorite "standard", but I ain't going to pass up Campy if you fellows might have a good deal on some.

Drop a post here, or email at cudak888@aol.com!

Take care,

-Kurt

If you didnt use the words 'local-yokals' i may have given it some thought. Thats one of my least favorite phrases.

No offense intended! I so happen to enjoy hick humor.

P.S.: Agreed, Miami DOES stink for riding. It's bad enough that there's hardly anyplace to ride - the few spots of pavement that are available for riding are potholed so darn bad, you need a MTB with a 140 mm-travel front shock to navigate them!
