Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

The Cyclist's Training Bible by Joe Friel.
I just finished reading this new book. It is excellent.

I purchased Lance Armsrong's book. It had some good workout ideas, but I didn't get a whole lot out of it that I hadn't already picked up elsewhere.
Serious Cycling by Dr Edmund Burke
with Chris Carmichael.
I just finished it, and while I'm not specifically
training to race this book is excellent. Covers
Everything, technique, bikes, setup, medical etc.
has schedules etc.
And Suprizingly still topical is Lemonds book on
cycling.
