It's a sweet frame and it's nice, a bit heavy and honestly do you need something THAT burly? Unless you are doing 20ft drops, you can get something that weighs a little less. Check out the Banshee Scirocco, just as nice and probably just as strong. Rock lobster makes a nice frame along with Surly Instigator. I almost got a banshee but I got the surly.

I was looking at the morphine, then I decided I wanted steel so I started looking at the scratch, and then I started looking at something in my price range...
they are some sweet frames though, don't doubt that.

Wow, the Morphine looks like the jaws of life with a seatpost. Burly, for sure...
Definatly burly...
Morphine is the most versatile all around freeride hardtail on the planet. The "Morphing" geometry enables the frame to change geometry for different riding disciplines, by changing the wheel size and fork travel. Morphines can be built up between 30 and 45lb. 4 sizes fit riders from 5'0 to 6'10.

as soon as i get my bruiser where i want it, it's gonna be either a Banshee Morphine or a Soul Sluggo, or if i can get my hands on a DMR from britain, maybe a hardtail DMR
I think the Banshee would be really cool!...also to show off:D

Well, no offense but 10 footers to flat are dumb... they're bad for your bike, on any bike. Just stick with drops to tranny.

Hey shabb what bikes do you have?
I currently have a XC bike (full squishy) and a road bike.
I bought one of these used really cheap, but them made some mods rode it for awhile and sold it for profit...
but am thinking about getting a scream as I miss riding a bike with BIG HIT capability...
