Books, Movies, Music & Entertainment - What game(s) are you playing?

I doubt this'll get as much attention as the music or reading threads, but I'm curious to see what games people here play when they're not riding/working/sleeping/etc. I'm into video games at the moment, but I'd like posts about any games being played. Cards, role-playing, board games, drinking games;)...whatever.

I'll go first!:D

Halo for Xbox - picked up the triple pack last weekend, but didn't get to play it 'til this weekend. I likey so far. Gonna try to hook up the Xbox Live and get some MP Halo 2 on with some friends.

Diablo II: Lord Of Destruction on the PC - Yeah, I know, it's old. Still fun to play, tho.

That's about it right now, really. I have a World Of Warcraft account, too, but haven't been playing lately. It sucks me in a little too deep, I think.

Hopefully, this will be a good thread to turn to for any bored peeps among us to get some time-wasting ideas.:)

I used to occasionaly play GTA 5, but the disks got scratched real easily and it no longer works. (I think because of all that compressed data). If the price ever comes down I'll buy another copy. I'm just not very much of a videogamer. What I do like is skeet shooting, not to be confused with a sex act.

A few nights ago I played NFL Blitz 2006 with a friend, and it's surprisingly fun, especially for a sports game. Other than that, KLAX (awesome speed/puzzle game from the Commodore 64 days), the Metal Gear series, Final Fantasy, and survival horror games.

We have an SNES in the suite, so...

I'm in to the final major senario (I think) and only have a handfull of HP's left. Some badass mofo's on the other side that want to dust me. I see health and can't get to it <sigh>

Ziggurat, you should check out KLAX if you like Tetris. It's sort of like Tetris gone 3D meets bubble-bobble...on crack.

I'm not much of a console gamer. Halo's the first I've played since, hmm, Monster Rancher 2, I think, on PS1.

I *had* been playing Elder Scrolls III:Morrowind (on PC).....for the last year and a half or so. It's the BEST game I've EVER played!!!

I finally decided to go to another game and heard that Neverwinter Nights was similar and some say even better than Morrowind. I've completed the main compaign and am now working on the first espansion (Shadows of Undrentide).

NWN is a fun game and I enjoy it....but it is NO Morrowind believe you me!!

The next game in the ElderScrolls line is coming out soon (Oblivion) and I'm DYING to play it.....but I won't have the hardware capable and don't think I'll have the money to upgrade until next year.

Civ3. Finished Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic last week. Fun game that's very true to the Star Wars universe.

A classic: Scrabble (but on the computer, of course)

For console, any GTA game. Playing Liberty City Stories on the PSP right now. Mercenaries was good, but a little hard for me. I am stuck about half way through.

I like Scrabble, we use a travel edition due to the cat problem. Upwords is a good one to.
There is also one called RushHour, you move little cars back and forth on a grid in order to get one out of the gridlock. Good one person game.

Never tried the video game versions of Scrabble, but I really enjoy the board game. That RushHour game sounds kind of cool, Rev. I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

Do yourself a favor and get a Remington 870. I won't go off into details here because its quite off topic, but if you seriously are going to get a shotgun and need advice, feel free to send me a pm or something.

my girlfriend and i sometimes throw a game of backgammon after the kid goes to bed. and soccer... is that a game, or a sport?

minesweeper, and solitaire. The junior engineers and interns/students have a battle going on with these two. Best score in solitaire is 5700. something i cant beat thats for sure

Nascar Racing 2003 Season Sim with the 2005-2006 cup updates and the Late Model Mod installed. This is the best stock car racing sim game out bar none. NR2003 Rocks!!! "Drive it like you stole it!"

When I'm feeling destructive I play Mech Warrior 3..... I love to blow stuff up in that game! :D

I played some Madden this past weekend. I lost.

Got my Xbox Live account hooked up today. Gonna try to get some Halo 2 in tonight(after I sleep).

Well, Halo 2 was fun. Got killed a few dozen times in some matchmaking games. I'm guessing I should've actually played Halo 2 single-player before I jumped into multi-player. Ah, well, live and learn....

i am still playing socom, the first one. i like team based first person shooters like it. it is a really fun game, just takes forever to beat. i am on level 10 of 12 :)

Forgot to mention that I'm still playing through the original Halo. One of my buddies at work got me started on Halo 2 MP, is all.

Rented out SOCOM- Naval Seals on PS2 to play with friend. Was probably the worst game i have ever played.

I am a big Zelda fan am eagerly looking forward to the newest release.

We have a NES so I've been playing a lot of Super Mario Brothers 3 and then NCAA Football 06 on xbox against my roomates.

Played more Halo 2 last night. FPS not so good with drinking, tho. Had to quit after a couple hours....

Time for a thread resurrection! I played a little TreadMarks (http://www.treadmarks.com) this past week(until I destroyed my joystick-the game one, not the other one). An old game, but it's lots of fun.
Set to play some more Halo 2 MP on Xbox Live tonight. Gonna see how many deaths I can rack up.;)

Been addicted to CounterStrike: Source lately

I just can't do video games anymore. At least not solo. At prior workplaces where we'd play on the network, they were cool. NO better way to relieve stress at work than 'killing' coworkers.

Wife & I play occasional backgammon; a buddy and I more occasionally play Chess.

Well, I got some Halo 2 in tonight. I sucked(as usual), but it was fun...and I even got a few kills.:)

Actually broke out the ol' Diablo II: LOD disc last night and played some. Today, as well. Started a new ladder necro.
