Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I think trackbikes in the city are the cat's meow, but every now and then I get fantasies of being one of those roadie badasses(like Tyler Hamilton) who ride mountains on a fixed gear in the training season. This picture in FGG (http://fixedgeargallery.com/2005/oct/FrancescoDevittori.htm) is exactly the kind of rig I'd choose.
lol @ go grandma
nice bike though

Totally with you on this one. My Kogswell is setup as close to a roadie rig as possible. It's just nicer for longer rides.
Even better, fixed steel Colnago with C-Record and Cobalto parts used as off-road winter trainer by a top pro roadie.
