Yes I am a bike junkie. In a little over two years road bikeing has taken over. I am 48 year old bicyclist by trade now. My horse is a custom built 531 steel frame road bike with campy. Being a newbie my venacular is probably not up to snuff. I am 6'4" tall and weigh 245# today (that changes with the winds) I call home Overland Park,KS a burb of Kansas City on the Kansas side. I have taken this year to State road bike tours doing 4 so far. Next week North Carolina will be the last it looks like this year. As I tremble thinking about a sizable layoff. Riding around here is OK. I have done many of the club organized rides, but really do enjoy the non interuptions of a multiday road trip. My goal is to become self contained and travel by bike. I have found out that biking is a way of life more than just one foot foward. I met a person on the Indiana ride last week that turned me onto this forum. Am looking foward to conversing on bike stuff.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm still just a recreational training rider. I'm jealous of your ambitions though. Looking forward to your posts. In Southern AZ at least I can ride all year round.
