as far as looks go. the stock bianchi one is going to be hideous with the new bars. i mean, it's ugly now.

sorry, one of those things you can't say on the internet and expect people to get.

you have an older pista with threaded headset, or newer with threadless?
if threaded go with nitto jaguar stem.
if threadless, something with some drop.

mmmm. yeah, i think i want something with some drop. that stem looks bulky eb. and i have a pink/chrome color scheme in the works. (decals coming off, pink grips, pink iro wheelset) so a chrome stem would be nice.

thanks for the input though! keep it coming.

it's actually very slim, not as bulky looking as that pic makes it seem.

it's more dough, xusx, but nothing looks as good as a nice quill fork to go with nitto drops, and as well as your current stem not looking so hot, the stock pista fork isn't exactly beautiful either. if you have some cash available, think about investing in a new threaded fork, headset, and stem. from experience the whole shebang can be had for under $150, with careful buying, and you'll get a better looking, and better riding set up.

I have and use the Mutant and love it. Like eddie said the picture does make it look much bigger then it is. I really like the way it looks on my steed. It gives a slight curve look from the fork to handlebars.

I've got a 110mm yellow Mutant on ebay right now:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7193818862&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1

No one's bid on it and if you can live with yellow or find a way to get strip it down to bare metal, it would be a nice cheap solution.
