I ride a Trek Y-66 and my daughter is ready to switch from a trailer to a tagalong. Is it going to be a problem to hook up a tagalong to my bike? I'm thinking of either the Adams or the Burley piccolo.

Thanks!

Y do it? Get another bike for using the tagalong.

my guess is that it could hurt your frame. Do you remember if there was a weight limit on the frame? With your daughter on the bike and the weight of the bike you will be adding to the seatpost a downward force of about 40lbs I am guessing. If you add that to your weight I am not sure that it can handle that. You can always risk it, and you would be risking cracking your frame, but if you are pulling the trailer with it you are currently risking cracking your seat stay so maybee it is biefier than current carbon fiber frames.
