Yup, we are in the middle of international "Car Free Days".
Sorry, Folks, it doesn't mean you get a car for free. It is not a trick promotion by an automobile company.
I didn't see any other posts about it on BF.C. How did I miss it?
Is anybody doing anything special for this event? Is anybody on the Forums bicycle commuting these days as a result?

There are some interesting statistics available along with some printable related posters.
According to one bit of information on the site, Hitler started the automobile-takes-over-the-world campaign with the advent of the autobahn on 23 September 1933. I would sure like to blame it on Hitler. I thought it was the American's fault - but as an American, am glad to blame this dirth on our German cousins.
