I just went from a super doodlebug to a transit deluxe. I like it better than the doodlebug except two things.

1.) The doodlebug has a better harness to hold the kids in.

2.) The back support isn't that great for the kids.

I can deal with the harness, but I'm trying to find a better solution for back support. My 2 year old is fine but my 1 yr old (11-04) can't sit up in it well. Does anyone else seem to have this problem? If you've come up with a solution, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks...

I don't have a solution, exactly, but I have a suggestion....does your trailer have reclining seats? If so, this might solve the problem for your one year old. Obviously, you've done this before, because you have a two year old and have upgraded from another trailer, but I wonder if your one year old's neck muscles are strong enough yet to ride in a trailer and support the helmet on her head. I have a 16 month old, and although I thought she would have done fine at 12 months, I put off putting her in the trailer until I was absolutely sure. Actually, I didn't put her in it until she was walking and almost running :-) Maybe, if you waited a couple of more months, the one year old would do better. Hopefully, it doesn't get so cold in your area that she would be miserable in a couple of months.
